We’re thrilled to announce that Eva Hedges has taken on a new role as Account Manager at Powdertech Surface Science! 

Eva has been an integral part of Powdertech since 2010, joining us as a Finance Assistant. Over the past 15 years, she’s become a familiar and trusted face,her dedication and sharp financial skills and for her supportive role within our production office over the last five years. 

Eva has a deep understanding of our internal processes and long-standing relationships with our customers, she’s confident in her ability to bring even more value in her new role.  

“Stepping into a more customer-facing position feels like a natural next step, I am excited and confident to wear the new hat,” says Eva. “I know the customers, their product preferences, and how we work at Powdertech. ’’I’m really looking forward to putting that knowledge into action and being more customer-focused. As Powdertech grows, I’m excited to grow with it.”

Chris Phillips joins Powdertech as Production Team Leader

Chris Phillips, Production Team Leader

On the 24th of March, we welcomed Chris Phillips as our new Production Team Leader at Powdertech Surface Science. Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership experience in manufacturing and quality management, having previously held key roles such as Quality Manager at Swan Foundry and Composite Inspector at MCT Engineering. Chris has a proven track record in monitoring quality performance and improving productivity and efficiency across manufacturing lines. 

With a Business & Management degree from De Montfort University, Chris combines practical expertise with strategic thinking, making him a valuable addition to our team. At MCT Engineering, he was deeply involved in overseeing the end-to-end composite manufacturing process, from casting to processing, ensuring high standards across operations. 

Since joining us, Chris has already started making a positive impact with his confident leadership and approachable nature. We’re thrilled to have Chris on board.
