Mathew Clark, Facilities & Maintenance Manager

We are pleased to welcome Mathew Clark, who joined the business in December 2025 as the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.

Mathew brings over a decade of engineering experience across the energy, rail, and defence sectors, supported by a strong mechanical background and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.

Before joining Powdertech, Mathew managed engineering operations at Air Liquide’s Anaerobic Digestion Plant, where he was responsible for maintaining complex industrial systems in a highly regulated environment. He has also held key technical roles with EMD Progress Rail, DB Schenker, and served with the British Army’s REME, experiences that have shaped his calm, structured leadership style and strong operational discipline.

At Powdertech, Mathew will lead all site maintenance and continuous improvement activities, ensuring our production and facility systems operate with the highest standards of reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Since joining the team, Mathew has quickly become a vital part of our day-to-day operations, working closely with production and engineering teams to improve plant performance and support our ongoing investment in process reliability and continuous improvement.

Matthew's appointment strengthens our commitment to operational excellence and ensures our facilities continue to support the delivery of high-quality surface finishing solutions for customers across demanding industrial sectors.
