Powdertech Surface Science was part of an exciting opportunity to upgrade the Singapore Airlines Business Class lounge within at Heathrow Airport, known as the SilverKris Lounge. As part of our powder coating for aluminium service we developed a specific metallic powder coat for Singapore Airline’s business class lounge to match the company livery.

We use high performance powders and the latest automatic powder coating spray equipment to ensure a consistent finish and we regularly invest in new equipment and facilities.

The project was wholly in lightweight aluminium components that were delicate to handle and all pieces needed labelling so that they could be correctly assembled when back on site. Our responsible quality control systems with manual checking made sure that all pieces were defect free and delivered on time.

The client was delighted with the finished result and though over ten years old, the golden aluminium panelling looks as smart today as it did when first installed.
